Who I am

This site is run by Bonafé Technology, LLC. You can reach me at wbonafe@bonafetech.com, or through the contact form on this page.

What I collect

I collect only what I need to run the site and the membership.

  • Contact form. Your name, your email address, and your message.
  • Membership account. Your name, email address, username, password, membership level, and payment status. Your password is stored in scrambled form.
  • Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.
  • Technical information. Your IP address and browser type, which are recorded automatically by the website and its host for security and to keep the site working.

Comments

If you leave a comment, I collect what you type in the comment form, along with your name, your email address, your IP address, and your browser type. Your name and comment are shown publicly. Your email address is not shown. The IP address and browser type help me catch spam. If your email address is linked to a Gravatar profile picture, that picture may appear next to your comment. Your comment will stay on the site until the site is shut down. If you want yours removed sooner, email me and I will take it down.

How I use it

I use your information to answer your messages, run your membership, process payments, send account and receipt emails, and keep the site secure. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not rent it out.

Who else handles your information

A few services help me run the site, and each has its own privacy policy.

  • Stripe processes membership payments.
  • Brevo delivers the emails the site sends, such as contact form messages and account emails.
  • GoDaddy hosts the site and my business email.
  • YouTube or Google may collect information if you watch an embedded video.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. If you turn cookies off in your browser, parts of the membership area may not work.

How long I keep it

Comments stay on the site for as long as the site is online. Contact messages and account information stay as long as I need them to answer you, run your membership, and meet my business and tax records. After that, I delete them.

REFUND POLICY

Membership

The AI Academy membership costs $6.99 per month. It is billed monthly through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel. The classes marked free cost nothing.

Canceling

You can cancel at any time from your account page on this site. Your access continues through the end of the month you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.

Your first payment

If the membership is not right for you, email me within 7 days of your first payment and I will refund it in full.

Renewal payments

I do not refund renewal payments. To avoid being charged, cancel before your renewal date. Your account page shows when that is.

Mistakes

If you were charged twice, or charged after you canceled, email me. I will correct it and refund the charge.

How to ask for a refund

Email wbonafe@bonafetech.com from the address on your account. Include your name and the date of the charge. Refunds go back to the card you used. Your bank usually takes 5 to 10 business days to show it

Your rights

If the law where you live gives you rights beyond what is written here, those rights still apply.
